Welcome to cyclehome.org. I'm glad you some how managed to find your way here. As time allows this site will be expanded to become larger and more useful. However, the main content will be on the regional sites:

The first regional website for cyclehome.org is Vancouver.CycleHome.org. This includes all of Greater Vancouver.

An interesting new website has started up about skateboarding:

CBCUnlocked.com has an article about a proposal to slap a 30% tariff on imported (from Asia) bicycles that is being reconsidered.

This apparently is being proposed to protect two Canadian Manufacturers Raleigh and Procycle from the low-end imports of cheap bicycles. As such the tarrif is designed to only apply to the cheaper (less than $400) bicycles.

Cyclehome.org is in desperate need of a good simple logo. It should be something that is quite simple and easily extendable to the various regional websites that could exist in the future.

So far the best idea I have thought of is taking the standard bicycle sign icon and integrating it with iconic representations of city landmarks. (Vancouver would be the Canada Place Sails, A future Seattle one would be the space needle, Victoria would be the legislature buildings etc)
